I was busy doing some market research on the Greek economy, and somehow I ended up on this site. How does one make the move from finance to sports? Good question.

The basic argument behind this site is that runners are more efficient when they run barefoot, as opposed to running with thick running sneakers. The reason for this is in the position of the foot as the runner lands. Barefoot runners tend to land on the balls of their feet, thereby creating a “springier” liftoff.

I guess my high school track coach was right after all.
